🎉 A free community festival will be held in celebration of the World Junior Championship! 🎉

Downtown Place, located next to the Avenir Centre, will become the main community festival grounds. This prime community space will be decked out in tournament colours and animated with free and accessible activities!
 

What can you expect to find at the community festival?

Throughout the festival, everyone is invited to: 

✳️ ring in 2023 at the New Year's Eve Family Fun Fest 🎉, with The Mellotones and a fireworks display 🎇;

✳️ celebrate with food, music 🎵 and friends, all while supporting local charities, at the Moncton Market series;

✳️ enjoy outdoor concerts featuring regional talent before and after games 🏒;

✳️ attend live viewing parties of Halifax games on large outdoor screens 📽️ (fans won’t want to miss the Semi Finals and Finals viewing parties on January 4 and 5!);

✳️ skate on the Ian Fowler Oval rink ⛸️ while enjoying live music or a live hockey game on the outdoor screens; 

✳️ delight their tastebuds by visiting one of the food vendors on site; and more!
